Polymeric Sulfur
Specification of Product
Product Name : Polymeric Sulfur; Insoluble Sulphur
Cas No.: 9035-99-8
Vulcanizing agents improve the fatigue resistance and aging resistance of various rubber products. They are used as the optimal vulcanizing agent for rubber. They are widely used in the manufacture of tires, rubber tubes, shoes, cables and wires, insulation materials, latex, and various automotive rubber parts, especially radial tires.
Advantages of Insoluble Sulfur (Polymeric Sulfur):
1. Rubber does not require blooming during storage. Vulcanizing agents maintain the consistent properties of the rubber material and prevent contamination of rubber products and molds.
2. Vulcanizing agents prevent transfer between rubber layers, thus protecting the surface molding adhesion.
3. They reduce coking during mixing, melting, and storage.
4. They shorten the vulcanization time, reduce sulfur usage, and improve the product's aging resistance.
