Description
Coumarin is a fragrant crystalline compound, C9H6O2, present in Tonka beans and produced synthetically for use as a fragrance. It is used chiefly in soaps and perfumery.

Application
1. Coumarin can be used for the deployment of perfume, cosmetics and tobacco flavor. It is also an important component of artificial flavor, often used with vanillin, Jasmine and other spices. It can also be used in the manufacture of fragrances, as fixatives, also used in the electroplating industry.
