1. Affected by raw materials, the raw materials for the production of sodium carboxymethyl cellulose mainly include: refined cotton, chloroacetic acid, and sodium hydroxide. Since the beginning of this year, refined cotton and sodium hydroxide have been rising, and the price of chloroacetic acid has dropped from 5,800 yuan per ton at the beginning of the year to now 4,300 yuan. The comprehensive raw material cost remained basically unchanged.

2. Affected by the relationship between supply and demand, the current domestic sodium carboxymethyl cellulose manufacturers are basically producing at full capacity, which is in a state of short supply.

Therefore, the price of sodium carboxymethyl cellulose will continue to rise slightly in 2022.
