Application
1. Chlorobenzene can be used as an intermediate in the synthesis of dyes, pharmaceuticals, pesticide and organic compounds.
2. It is used as analytical reagents and organic solvents. Used as a solvent for paints, adhesives, polishes, waxes, and natural rubber; also used as a dry cleaning agent.
3. Used as a heat transfer medium, fiber swelling agent and dye carrier in textile processing, tar and grease remover, solvent for bitumen and asphalt building coatings, and pesticide solvent; Used in leather tanning.
4. Chlorobenzene is used to produce pesticide varieties trichloroacillone, DDT, etc. It is also used as a solvent for ethyl cellulose and many resins and to produce a variety of intermediates, such as p-dichlorobenzene, p-chlorobenzenesulfonic acid, 2, 4-Dinitrochlorobenzene, o-nitrochlorobenzene, p-nitrochlorobenzene, nitrophenol, etc.

Store ina flammable liquid storage area or approved cabinet away from ignition sources and corrosive and reactive materials. Store in tightly closed containers in a cool, well-ventilated area away from heat, sparks, orflames. Sources of ignition, such as smoking and openflames are prohibited where Chlorobenzene is used, handled, or stored.
