Super Absorbent Polymer (SAP)
Super Absorbent Polymer (SAP, Sodium Polyacrylate) is a water-swellable cross-linked polymer with carboxyl hydrophilic groups. It features outstanding water absorption and water retention capacity.
SAP can absorb hundreds times its own weight of liquid. It absorbs fast and keeps liquid locked firmly. Minimal liquid rewet even under pressure or heating. With stable safety performance and competitive price, it is widely used for disposable baby diapers, adult incontinence products and feminine sanitary napkins.
SAP forms a 3D cross-linked network structure. The absorption mechanism relies on chemical adsorption and osmotic pressure balance. After liquid uptake, the gel network can hold water steadily and prevent leakage & rewet.
Product Grades
CR-620General-purpose hygiene SAP with balanced absorption, retention and AUP performance. Suitable for regular baby diapers and sanitary napkins, cost-effective for standard core formulation.
CR-630Excellent water locking, low rewet under load. Ideal for composite core with low fluff pulp ratio, adult incontinence pads and heavy absorbency diapers.
CR-640Fast absorption speed, high absorption capacity. Designed for thin diapers and ultra-thin sanitary pads, quick liquid diversion for thin core design.
CR-680High absorption capacity & high AUP (Absorption Under Pressure). Premium grade for high-end baby diapers and overnight sanitary napkins, long-lasting locking performance.
