PVI (CTP) Rubber Antiscorching Agent (CAS 17796-82-6), also known as N-(Cyclohexylthio)phthalimide, is an effective rubber vulcanization retarder and pre-vulcanization inhibitor.
PVI is widely used in sulfur-vulcanized natural rubber and synthetic rubber compounds to prevent premature vulcanization during processing. It provides effective scorch protection and improves processing safety, making it suitable for high-temperature mixing, extrusion, calendering and other rubber processing operations.

Applications of PVI (CTP) Rubber Antiscorching Agent
This product is a highly effective scorch inhibitor. It provides excellent scorch protection for all sulfur-vulcanized diene rubbers and rubbers with low unsaturation—such as natural rubber (NR), styrene-butadiene rubber (SBR), nitrile rubber (NBR), butyl rubber (IIR), chloroprene rubber (CR), isoprene rubber (IR), butadiene rubber (BR), and ethylene propylene diene monomer (EPDM)—without compromising its activity when used in combination with other rubber additives. It causes no adverse side effects such as foaming or staining. Furthermore, it significantly enhances the storage stability of rubber compounds, preventing premature vulcanization during storage.
