Fluorescent Brightener CBS-X is a widely used water-soluble fluorescent whitening agent and is also commercially known as Fluorescent Brightener 351, Optical Brightener CBS-X and Tinopal CBS-X. Its chemical identity is Disodium 4,4'-Bis(2-sulfostyryl)biphenyl.

Performance characteristics
Fluorescent brightenerCBS-LIt is a bis(vinylbenzene)-biphenyl type optical fluorescent brightener, and is the best fluorescent brightener for detergents. It can be mixed with water in any proportion. At room temperature, it has a good whitening effect on cellulose fibers, polyamides, and protein fibers, and is suitable for high-temperature pad dyeing. It also has a good whitening effect on paper. It is non-toxic, non-corrosive, dust-free, easy to use, and suitable for continuous production. It has extremely high stability to sodium hypochlorite and is a bleach-resistant fluorescent brightener.
Scope of application
Used in synthetic detergents, soaps, soap industry and dyeing, weaving and papermaking industry.
