ETU (NA-22) Rubber Accelerator (CAS 96-45-7), also known as Ethylene Thiourea, is an important thiourea-type rubber vulcanization accelerator.
ETU is widely used as an accelerator for the vulcanization of polychloroprene rubber (CR/Neoprene) and can also be used in other specialty rubber formulations. It provides efficient curing performance and is commonly used in applications requiring good heat resistance and mechanical properties.

Applications of ETU (NA-22) Rubber Accelerator
This product is suitable for use with chloroprene rubber, epichlorohydrin rubber, chlorinated polyethylene, and other elastomers; it is particularly effective as a safe accelerator for non-sulfur vulcanization systems (such as amine-based systems) for chloroprene rubber. Rapid and safe vulcanization can be achieved within the 100–500°C range by selecting an appropriate compounding system. Vulcanized products exhibit high tensile strength and low permanent compression set; the product is especially effective in non-sulfur vulcanization systems for W-type (Type 54-1) chloroprene rubber. It is typically used in conjunction with zinc oxide and magnesium oxide, primarily for the manufacture of industrial goods, wire and cable insulation, footwear, and other chloroprene rubber products.
