Accelerator PZ [ Zinc Dimethyldithiocarbamate ] Applications
This product is a super accelerator for natural and synthetic rubbers, as well as for latex.
It is particularly suitable for butyl rubber, which requires compression set, and nitrile rubber, which requires excellent aging resistance. It is also suitable for EPDM rubber.
The vulcanization temperature is 100°C, but it is more active at low temperatures, has a greater tendency to scorch, and can cause premature vulcanization during mixing.
Because it is non-toxic, odorless, non-polluting, and non-discoloring, it is suitable for use in rubber products such as adhesive tape, food, and pharmaceuticals.
In the United States, PZ has been approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
It is highly effective in products such as EPDM and butyl rubber.
