Trioctyl trimellitate Application Guide:
1. Trioctyl trimellitate(TOTM) is a heat-resistant and durable plasticizer suitable for a variety of resins, including polyvinyl chloride, cellulose nitrate, and polymethyl methacrylate.
2. TOTM exhibits excellent resistance to volatilization, water extraction, migration, low-temperature resistance, and electrical properties. Its durability is comparable to that of polymeric plasticizers, while its growth efficiency and processing performance are similar to those of phthalate plasticizers. It combines some of the characteristics of both monomeric and polymeric plasticizers.
3. TOTM has a high resistivity and better heat and high-temperature resistance than DOTP. It is primarily used in heat-resistant cable materials (105°C grade), sheet materials, gaskets, and other products requiring heat resistance and durability.
