Triethylene Glycol Dimethyl Ether is mainly used as a solvent for dyes, resins, paints, etc. It can be used as a high-boiling-point solvent in organic synthesis reactions. In some cases, it can replace DMF and DMSO solvents. It is a stable aprotic polar solvent and can also be used as a desulfurization and decarbonization agent in the synthesis of ammonia or natural gas.
