Tributyl Citrate Application Guide:
1. Tributyl Citrate (TBC) is compatible with many vinyl resins, synthetic rubber, ethyl cellulose, and polystyrene, and is a plasticizer for nitrocellulose and paints.
2. Due to its low volatility, hydrolysis resistance, and light stability, paint films plasticized with TBC are highly resistant to oils and tallow.
3. Tributyl Citrate (TBC) can be used to manufacture vinyl resin films and sheets, particularly suitable for food packaging, beverage tubes, hospital interior walls, anatomical repairs, and protective outerwear.
Tributyl Citrate (TBC) has poor electrolytic performance, a poor dielectric loss tangent, and low joint strength, making it unsuitable for products requiring high electrical performance.
Application Examples: Exercise balls (replacing DOP); sandals, hoses, and conveyor belts (replacing DBP).
