Tetrabromobisphenol A bis(2,3-dibromo-2-methylpropyl ether) is the main product of deep processing of Tetrabromobisphenol A, with better flame retardant effect. Belonging to additive flame retardants, mainly used for flame retardancy of EPS and XPS boards, it is an excellent alternative to the discontinued flame retardant hexabromocyclododecane (HBCD). Unlike typical methyl octabromoether, Tetrabromobisphenol A bis(2,3-dibromo-2-methylpropyl ether) naturally forms a strong hardness granular form during the crystallization process, and has the characteristics of less dust and non stick equipment when feeding.
