Synthetic Cryolite Physicochemical Properties
1. High molecular weight ratio, stable at 2.8-3.0;
2. The use of high molecular weight cryolite in newly started cells results in stable electrolyte levels, slower shrinkage, and gentler changes in molecular weight ratio, which is beneficial for maintaining stable electrolyte composition; uniform sodium absorption at the cathode helps extend the life of the electrolytic cell; the electrolysis temperature is reasonable with minimal variation and easy control; and volatilization loss is low, effectively improving on-site operating conditions;
3. Significantly reduces the consumption of sodium fluoride or soda ash, lowering the production cost of electrolytic aluminum.
Synthetic Cryolite Applications
Primarily used as a flux in aluminum electrolysis;
Also used as a wear-resistant additive in grinding products, effectively improving the wear resistance, cutting force, and extending the service life and storage time of grinding wheels;
It is also used as a flux for ferroalloys and rimmed steel, a flux for non-ferrous metals, a deoxidizer in casting, a catalyst for olefin polymerization, and in industries such as glass anti-reflective coatings, enamel emulsifiers, glass brighteners, welding materials flux, fillers in the ceramics industry, and pesticides.
Synthetic Cryolite Packaging
Laminated plastic woven bag, lined with inner plastic film bag, net weight 25Kg or 1000Kg per bag.
