It can also be used as a preservative for wood and leather,
It is a raw material for the production of other fluorides.
Sodium Fluorosilicate Packaging
Industrial sodium fluorosilicate is packaged in inner polyethylene plastic film bags with a thickness of not less than 0.05 mm, and outer plastic woven bags, the performance and testing methods of which should comply with relevant regulations.
Each bag contains a net weight of 25 kg or 50 kg.
The inner bag is sealed twice with nylon rope, or by other equivalent method.
The outer bag is folded at least 30 mm from the edge and sewn at least 15 mm from the edge with vinylon thread or other thread of equivalent quality.
The stitching should be neat, with even stitch spacing and no missed stitches or skipped stitches.
Transportation Requirements
Industrial sodium fluorosilicate should be covered during transportation to prevent rain and moisture, and should not be transported together with acidic feed or food. Handle with care during loading and unloading; dragging and impact are prohibited. Place the product securely to prevent damage to the packaging. If any leakage is found, immediately clean it up with sand or sawdust, and bury the spilled material deeply underground.
Storage Requirements
Industrial sodium fluorosilicate should be stored in a cool, dry place, avoiding open-air storage. Entry by humans and animals is strictly prohibited, and it should be kept away from acidic feed and food.
Safety Requirements
Sodium fluorosilicate is toxic, non-flammable, and not easily explosive. Avoid inhaling dust and prevent contact with eyes and skin. Operators should wear protective clothing, masks, and goggles when starting work. Regularly check the operating status of exhaust fans and the airtightness of equipment pipelines. Shower after work.
