Sodium dichloroisocyanurate is an organic compound that is white powder, flake or granular at room temperature and has a chlorine smell.
Sodium dichloroisocyanurate is a commonly used disinfectant with strong oxidizing properties. It has a strong killing effect on various pathogenic microorganisms such as viruses, bacterial spores, fungi, etc. It is a widely applicable and highly effective bactericide.
Product Features
(1) Strong bactericidal and disinfecting ability. The effective chlorine content of pure DCCNa is 64.5%, and the effective chlorine content of high-quality products is greater than 60%. It has a strong disinfection and bactericidal effect. At 20ppm, the bactericidal rate reaches 99%. It has a strong killing effect on various bacteria, algae, fungi and pathogens.
(2) Its toxicity is very low, with a median lethal dose (LD50) of up to 1.67g/kg (the median lethal dose of trichloroisocyanuric acid is only 0.72~0.78g/kg). It has long been approved at home and abroad to use DCCNa in the disinfection and disinfection of food and drinking water.
(3) Wide range of applications. This product can not only be used for food and beverage processing industry and drinking water disinfection, cleaning and disinfection of public places, but also in industrial circulating water treatment, civil household sanitation disinfection, aquaculture disinfection and other aspects.
(4) High effective chlorine utilization rate. DCCNa has a high solubility in water. 30g DCCNa can be dissolved in every 100mL of water at 25℃. Even in an aqueous solution at a temperature as low as 4°C, DCCNa can quickly release all the effective chlorine it contains, making full use of its disinfection and sterilization effect. Other solid chlorine-containing products (except chloroisocyanuric acid) have much lower chlorine values than DCCNa due to their low solubility or slow release of the chlorine they contain.
(5) Good stability. Since the triazine ring in the molecule of chloroisocyanuric acid products has high stability, DCCNa is very stable. According to measurements, after the dried DCCNa is stored in a warehouse, the loss of effective chlorine is less than 1% after one year.
