Polyaluminium Chloride Description
Polyaluminium chloride (PAC) is an inorganic substance, an emerging water purification material, an inorganic polymer coagulant, referred to as polyaluminium. It is a water-soluble inorganic polymer between AlCl3 and Al(OH)3, with a general chemical formula of [Al2(OH)nCl6-n]m, where m represents the degree of polymerization and n represents the neutrality of the PAC product. n=1~5 is a highly charged polymeric ring chain with a Keggin structure, which has a high degree of electrical neutralization and bridging effect on colloids and particles in water, and can strongly remove micro-toxic substances and heavy metal ions with stable properties. Due to the bridging effect of hydroxide ions and the polymerization of multivalent anions, the produced polyaluminium chloride is an inorganic polymer water treatment agent with a relatively large molecular weight and a high charge.

Applications
Poly Aluminium Chloride(PAC) can be used as a flocculant for all types of water treatment,drinking water,industrial waste water,urban waste water,swimming pool and paper industry. Besides, it can be also used in deodorants and antiperspirants.Compared with other coagulants, this product possesses the following advantages.
1.Wider application, better water adaptation.
2.Quickly shape big alum bubble,and with good precipitation.
3.Better adaptation to PH value(5-9),and little declining range of PH value and alkalinity of water after treatment.
4.Keeping stable precipitation effect at lower water temperature.
5.Higher alkalization than other aluminium salt and iron salt,and little erosion to equipments.
