Description
Tetrabromobisphenol A (2,3-Dibromopropyl)ether is part of the group of Brominated and Chlorinated Flame Retardants. FR-50 is a flame retardant containing both aromatic and aliphatic bromine. It's is designed for use in polyolefin and styrenic resins, providing a UL94 V-2 rating. It can also be applied to polypropylene, to reach a V-0 rating.

Application
RDT-6 is a brominated aromatic flame retardant mainly used in thermoplastic plastics. Very suitable for processing engineering plastics with high requirements for thermal stability, UV stability, and color. Due to its unique comprehensive performance, RDT-6 is particularly suitable for processing PBT, PET, PBT/PET blend resins, polycarbonate, ABS, PC/ABS, polysulfone resins, SAN, and various resins. The UV stability of RDT-6 enables it to meet the formulation requirements for indoor fluorescence exposure and outdoor sunlight exposure. In addition, the high purity of RDT-6 ensures that the product has excellent electrical performance and thermal stability.
