Neopentyl Glycol Application
Mainly used to produce plasticizers for unsaturated polyester resins, oil-free alkyd resins, polyurethane foams and elastomers, additives for high-grade lubricants and other fine chemicals. Neopentyl glycol can be used for the selective separation of aromatics and cycloalkyl hydrocarbons. Neopentyl glycol is resistant to chemicals and weathering. Its amino baking paint has good gloss retention and is non-yellowing. It can also be used as raw material for the production of polymerization inhibitors, stabilizers and pesticides.
