Methylionone Applications
Methylionone is commonly used in the formulation of violet, osmanthus, acacia, and mimosa-type fragrances. Methylionone is also a common ingredient in lily, perfume, cymbidium, ambergris, amber, musk, and oriental-type fragrances. Methylionone blends well with many floral and woody scents and can be used as a blending agent, modifier, and base note. Methylionone can also be used in food flavorings.
