Isopropylamine Application
Isopropylamine is an important fine chemical intermediate; it is a clear, alkaline liquid with a distinctive ammoniacal odor. It is used to produce pesticides (such as the herbicides atrazine, prometryn, glyphosate-isopropylamine, and bentazon), pharmaceuticals (such as Ganle, propranolol, pindolol, and clenbuterol), and dye intermediates. It serves as a rubber accelerator in the rubber industry and as a hard-water treatment agent and detergent in water treatment. Additionally, it is utilized in industries such as light manufacturing, textiles, daily chemicals, and leather processing to manufacture surfactants, textile auxiliaries, solubilizers, detergents, and depilatory agents, with the largest volume of consumption occurring in the pesticide sector.
