3.1 Furfuryl alcohol is mainly used to produce furan resins, furfural resins, furfuryl alcohol-uric acid resins, phenolic resins, etc. with various properties.
3.2 Used for molding and core making in casting production.
3.3 Used in anticorrosive resins and pharmaceutical raw materials, and hydrogenated to produce tetrahydrofurfuryl alcohol; 3.4 Used in dyes, synthetic fibers, rubber, pesticides and casting industries.
3.5 Intermediates used in medicine, manufacturing chemical intermediates, making pyridine, etc. 3.6 Used to prepare fruit acids, plasticizers, solvents (such as varnish, pigments) and rocket fuel, etc.
