3. Product Application of Ferrocene
3.1 It can be used to make ammonia catalyst, silicone resin and rubber curing agent.
3.2 Energy-saving smoke suppressant and anti-riot agent that can be used as fuel. Often used in various fuels, such as diesel, gasoline, heavy oil, coal, etc. Ferrocene addition ratio: Adding 0.1% ferrocene to automotive diesel can save 10-14% of fuel oil and reduce the smoke in the exhaust gas by 30-80%. Adding 0.03% ferrocene to methanol can be formulated into artificial liquefied gas with a combustion value of 3372-38656 KJ-KG. Adding 0.3% to heavy oil and 0.2% to coal can make the fuel Consumption is reduced, and at the same time, the smoke level is reduced by 30%. This is mainly due to the fact that the iron decomposed from ferrocene is deposited on the surface of the spark plug, which enhances its thermal conductivity and increases the combustion rate.
