Ethylene Glycol Diacetate (EDA): A high-boiling-point, environmentally friendly solvent. Its characteristics include: extremely strong dissolving power, good compatibility, faster drying than DBE, and usability at lower temperatures. It also has low odor and is non-toxic.
Ethylene Glycol Diacetate is mainly used in the coatings, inks, and resins industries, and can partially replace high-boiling-point solvents such as cyclohexanone, isophorone, and DBE. It improves leveling and regulates the drying speed of paint films. It can also be used as a solvent in floor polishes, leather polishes, cleaning agents, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, and fragrances.
