Application
1. It can be used for medicine and pesticide intermediates, synthesis of perfume and essence.
2. Ethanesulfonyl chloride can make sulfonyl-substituted imides, methide lithium salts, and pentafluoroethanesulfonyl fluoride, a fluorinated surfactant. It is an intermediate in synthesizing new, low-cost, non-fluorinated, sulfonyl-substituted imide and methide lithium salts and an intermediate in preparing the fluorinated surfactant pentafluoroethanesulfonyl fluoride.
3. Ethanesulfonyl Chloride is used to synthesize ethane sulfonamide, ethane sulfonamide or ethyl sulfonamide is an intermediate of sulfonamide drugs and sulfonylurea herbicides.
