Description
Dodecenyl Succinic Acid is used as a corrosion inhibitor for enhancing the longevity and performance of metalworking fluids. It is used as a dispersant to improve the uniform distribution of pigments and other components in paints and coatings, resulting in better product quality and performance. It is used in the production of lubricants to enhance their viscosity, thermal stability, and resistance to oxidation, thereby extending the life of the lubricants and reducing wear on machinery.

Application
1. It has good oil solubility, can form a firm oil film on the metal surface, and comprehensively protect the metal from rust and corrosion. It is an excellent rust inhibitor for oil products, but it has poor rust prevention performance for lead and cast iron.
2. Widely used in the formulation of steam turbine oil, machine tool oil, hydraulic oil, hydraulic transmission oil, rust prevention grease and other products.
3. When added to the solvent adhesive, it can prevent the corrosion of the glue on the iron packaging and prevent the color change of the glue. When used alone, due to the high acid value, the anti-rust effect on cast iron is poor.
