Applications of Dioctyl Sebacate
1. Dioctyl Sebacate is an excellent low-temperature resistant plasticizer characterized by high plasticizing efficiency, low volatility, and superior stability. It offers excellent cold resistance alongside good heat resistance, light stability, and electrical insulation properties, making it suitable for various resins such as PVC, nitrocellulose, ethyl cellulose, and synthetic rubber.
2. Dioctyl Sebacate (DOS) is particularly suitable for producing cold-resistant wire and cable compounds, high-quality food and meat preservation films, artificial leather, films, conveyor belts, boards, and sheets. It is frequently used in combination with phthalate plasticizers.
3. As a low-temperature plasticizer for various synthetic rubbers, Dioctyl Sebacate has no adverse effect on the vulcanization process.
