Description
Diisopropanolamine, also known as 2,2'-dihydroxydipropylamine, is an organic compound that is miscible with water, miscible in ethanol, slightly soluble in toluene, and insoluble in hydrocarbons.

Application
Gas purification: Removal of CO2, H2S and other gases from acidic gases in natural gas and petroleum refining gas; removal of CO2 from synthesis gas in synthetic ammonia production.
Surfactants: Regulate interfacial tension; good emulsifier and wetting agent.
Fiber processing aids: Wetting agent, antistatic agent, refining agent.
Medicine, pesticides: Production of intermediate raw materials; pesticide emulsifier and dispersant.
Paints, coatings: Resin neutralizer, pigment dispersant, electrophoretic coating neutralizer.
Metalworking fluids: Used for metal annealing and quenching; antioxidant.
Papermaking aids: Defoamer, fluorescent whitening.
Storge & Handling
Store in a cool and dry place, prevent from sunshine and rain. Shelf life is two years, and after then it could still be available once passed the chemical test.

Generally present no toxicity, alkalescence but do not irritate skin. It should be prevented from spilling into the eyes while handling.
