3. Product Application of Phenothiazine
3.1. Mainly used as an efficient polymerization inhibitor for acrylic acid, acrylate esters, methacrylic acid and ester monomers.
3.2. It is also used in the synthesis of drugs and dyes, as well as additives for synthetic materials (such as polymerization inhibitors for vinyl acetate, raw materials for antioxidants for rubber).
3.3. Also used as anthelmintic for livestock and insecticide for fruit trees.

Phenothiazine is an organic compound, yellow to green-gray powder, granular or flake solid. Easily soluble in benzene, ether and hot acetic acid, slightly soluble in alcohol and mineral oil, almost insoluble in petroleum ether; chloroform and water. The color becomes darker after long-term storage, is easily oxidized in sunlight, and can sublimate.
