It appears as a white powder.
1. Grade Categories: Based on different product performance and applications, CPVC resin is divided into 8 grades.

1.1 Grade: CPVC RESIN-HA 317

ADVANTAGES: This grade can be plasticized with quick speed, good flow properties in processing, high production efficiency. This grade is one of the common used grade in extrusion.

Specification:
CHLORINE CONTENT: 68.5-69.2%
APPARENT DENSITY: ≥0.60g/ml

ADVANTAGES: This grade is with high temperature resistance, high vicat softening temperature, good flame retardant performance

ADVANTAGES: It is a highly liquid brand with good processing stability, high softening temperature and good heat resistance of products, but the processing viscosity is higher than CPVC-HA 207.

Main Applications:
♢ Hot/Cold Water Pipelines and Components
CPVC has good heat resistance, allowing use in boiling water, and also provides good thermal insulation. It can be widely used in civil and industrial heat-resistant pipes and components, such as cold/hot water pipes, fittings, valves, and other heat-resistant custom-shaped parts for towers.
♢ Corrosion-resistant pipes, containers, and components
CPVC has good resistance to acid, alkali, salt, and other chemical corrosion, and is widely used in chemical, water treatment, marine engineering, light industry, electronics, and mining industries. It can be processed into pipes of different diameters for transporting process media, processed into sheets for manufacturing towers and storage tanks, and can also be used to make corrosion-resistant fittings, valves, rods, or other materials.
♢ Building materials
CPVC has good flame retardant and smoke-suppressing properties, high strength, and good wear resistance. It has excellent performance in manufacturing various building fire protection pipes, door and window profiles, and flame-retardant flooring. CPVC can be combined with foaming agents to create foamed materials for building insulation, providing good heat insulation, flame retardancy, and smoke suppression.
♢ Power Transmission Conduit: CPVC is used to make conduits for buried high-voltage power cables, offering significant advantages over PVC in terms of heat resistance, flame retardancy, and insulation. It can be widely used in urban power grid upgrades.
♢ Roofing and Wall Panels: CPVC exhibits excellent UV resistance and atmospheric aging resistance, high strength, and is suitable for processing into roofing panels and exterior wall protection materials. It is not prone to aging and has a long service life.
♢ Plastic Modifier: CPVC has good compatibility with common polar plastics and can be used to modify other plastics, improving their heat resistance, flame retardancy, etc.
♢ Corrosion-resistant synthetic fiber
CPVC has high melt strength and can be drawn into fibers to weave fishing nets, filter cloths, filter screens, parachutes, etc. ♢ It can also be used to manufacture heat-resistant sheets for electrical and electronic applications and other irregularly shaped parts and components.
3. Packaging: Small packages are packaged in kraft paper and polypropylene woven composite bags or polypropylene two-in-one woven bags, with a net content of 25kg per bag; Large packages are packaged in polypropylene woven bags, with a net content of 650kg per bag;
4. Storage and Transportation: This product is not a dangerous good.
It should be stored in a dry and ventilated warehouse. Small packages should be stacked no more than 7 layers high, and large packages no more than 2 layers high, protected from sunlight and moisture. Transportation must be carried out in clean and covered vehicles to prevent exposure to sunlight, rain, and heat.
