Main Properties:
1. Bis(2-ethylhexyl) terephthalate(DOTP) is an excellent primary plasticizer with superior electrical and thermal properties. Its volume resistivity is 10-20 times that of DOP. It exhibits excellent growth-enhancing properties and low volatility, particularly in cable materials. It is widely used in various products requiring heat resistance and high insulation performance. It is an ideal plasticizer for producing cables resistant to temperatures up to 70°C and other PVC products requiring volatility resistance.
2. Bis(2-ethylhexyl) terephthalate also exhibits excellent cold resistance, heat resistance, extraction resistance, and volatility resistance, with a high growth rate. In finished products, it exhibits excellent durability, soap and water resistance, and low-temperature flexibility. It is suitable as a plasticizer for PVC resins, such as PVC cable materials requiring high insulation performance.
3. Dioctyl terephthalate can be blended with DOP in any ratio.
4. When used in plastisols,Bis(2-ethylhexyl) terephthalate can reduce viscosity and increase shelf life.
