Application
1. Used for organic synthesis, pharmaceutical intermediates.
2. Benzenesulfonamide was used to develop analytical method for simultaneous determination of benzotriazole, benzothiazole and benzenesulfonamide contaminants in environmental waters.
3. Benzenesulfonamides serve as intermediates in the production of polysulfonamides, which are used as tanning agents and plastics. N- Alkylamides of the benzenesulfonic and tolue-nesulfonic acids can be used as plasticizers. Aminobenzenesulfonamides and diaryldisulfonylamines with amino groups serve as intermediates in the production of azo dyes.
