Description
Benzene sulfonamide(BSA), molecular formula C6H7NO2S, molecular weight 157.18. White needle-like or flaky crystals. Easily soluble in hot alcohol and ether, slightly soluble in water. It is combustible in case of open flame and high temperature. Decomposes by heat, releasing toxic gases such as nitrogen and sulfur oxides. Used as organic synthesis and pharmaceutical intermediates.

Application
