Applications of Antioxidant 77PD

Antioxidant 77PD, CAS 3081-14-9 offers superior resistance to ozone aging under static conditions compared to antioxidant 4010NA, it provides good short-term ozone resistance under dynamic conditions and effectively protects against flex cracking. It can be incorporated directly into rubber compounds, though it has a slight tendency to accelerate scorch.


The typical dosage is 0.7–1.5 parts by mass.

It is used as an antiozonant in natural rubber, polybutadiene rubber (BR), styrene-butadiene rubber (SBR), polyisoprene rubber (IR), nitrile rubber (NBR), and butyl rubber (IIR).

It can also serve as a tear-resistance agent or a general-purpose antioxidant.
