Application
1. Used as polymerization inhibitor, UV inhibitor, dye intermediate for vinyl plastic monomers and antioxidant BHA (3-tert-butyl-4-hydroxyanisole) for the synthesis of edible oils and cosmetics.
2. It is an important intermediate for fine chemical products such as medicines, spices, pesticides, etc. It is mainly used as a polymerization inhibitor for the production of vinyl monomers such as acrylonitrile, acrylic acid and its esters, methacrylic acid and its esters. Its biggest advantage is that when it is used, it is not necessary to remove p-hydroxyanisole, and it can directly participate in the polymerization.
3. It is also used in the synthesis of antioxidants, plasticizers and food additives (BHA).
