Application

1.  It can be used in the production of antioxidants 2246, 2246-S (2.2-fluid bis-6-tert-butyl-p-cresol), ultraviolet absorber UV-326, liquid crystal materials, etc.

2. 2-Tert-Butyl-4-Methylphenol, is a versatile buidling bloch used in the various chemical synthesis. It is used in the synthesis of 2-t-butyl-p-cresol amide derivatives, having the antibacterial and antifouling properties.
